Japan's ferroalloy imports totaled 133,290 tons in May, down by 4.75% from a month ago and down by 0.2% year on year, according to data released by Japan's Ministry of Finance.
In the first five months of this year, the country's ferroalloy imports amounted to 640,145 tons, down by 2% year on year.
In the given period of time, the ferroalloy imports from Kazakhstan totaled 133,995 tons, rising by 5.8% those from South Africa were at 100,102 tons, decreasing by 25.3%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
